OIC Sable Island Thanks DND for Son's Rescue - 1982
Background: In 1981 Todd Allison, the son of Sable Island OIC Barry Allison needed to be evacuated from the Island following an accident.Heroic efforts by DND, involving two Sea King helicopters, resulted in a successful evacuation in foggy conditions
