1. The Christmas 1986 issue of Zephyr revealed John McBride's involvement with international underwater hockey. This link is to a pdf giving a description of the sport and John's participation. Indeed he became manager of the Canadian team and Canada won the world championship held in Adelaide Australia in 1986. 2.
