Underground Infrastructure - Downsview Building, 1990

Note:  The AES / MSC building at 4905 Dufferin St. had various environmental or "green" infrastructures installed, either at inception or later.  These included solar heated hot water and air conditioning from sub-surface cooling.  In 1989, the new ADM, Elizabeth Dowdeswell, was already a keen "green" supporter and wanted to see these facilities first hand.  The photos below show her visit to the sub-basement of the building.
