NOTE: A field office was set up in the back of an army truck for Met Briefings.
Fax machines and teletype provided data for local analyses.
In addition, a mesonet provided hourly data to observe and predict the wind flow pattern over the Bay.
Rick was deployed from the Maritime Forces Weather Office in Halifax (later the MetOc Centre East).
