Concorde Visits Gander

In 1975, John Elliott, newly appointed OIC of Gander NL Weather Office saw the first visit to Canada of the British / French supersonic aircraft, The Concorde.

John later wrote an account of this historic event for the August 1975 edition of Zephyr, which is linked from here.

In 2023, original prints of the photos John used for his article were found and are shown below.
