Mention d'excellence Jim Bruce pour sa contribution en météorologie. Greg Flato was awarded the Jim Bruce Citation of Excellence for Contributions in Meteorology. The awards acknowledges exceptional contributions towards meteorological programs at ECCC. As a member of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), he has demonstrated exceptional leadership in climate science and building Canada’s reputation globally.  Greg Flato a reçu la Mention d’excellence Jim Bruce pour sa contribution en météorologie. Ce prix reconnaît l’apport exceptionnel du récipiendaire aux programmes d’ECCC en météorologie. En tant que membre du Groupe d’experts intergouvernemental sur l’évolution du climat (GIEC), il a fait preuve d’un leadership hors du commun dans le domaine des sciences du climat et dans l’établissement de la réputation du Canada dans le monde. 2. Nancy Cutler Citation of Excellence for Women in Science and Technology / Mention d'excellence Nancy Cutler pour les femmes en sciences et en technologie. Haley Hung was recognized for her outstanding work and initiative as a woman in the science and technology field. Her exceptional research has supported a number of ECCC priorities such as the Northern Contaminants Program, UNEP Stockholm Convention on Persistent Organic Pollutants and the Minimata Convention on Mercury, to name a few.  Haley Hung a été récompensée pour son initiative et son travail exceptionnels en tant que femme dans le domaine des sciences et de la technologie. Son travail de recherche exceptionnel a facilité le traitement d’un certain nombre de priorités d’ECCC, comme le Programme de lutte contre les contaminants dans le Nord, la Convention de Stockholm du PNUE sur les polluants organiques persistants et la Convention de Minimata sur le mercure, pour n’en nommer que quelques-unes. 3.
