Many students participated and, in her article, Leslie names some AES people who helped. The colour photos below, however, only show Dennis Stossel, Arctic Co-ordinator, helping with the preparations. Some camping occurred on the ice near the Eureka Weather Station, as shown in the third photo, but no one walked to the North Pole. The last photo showhs the participants with Environment Minister Lucien Bouchard at a celebration event in Ottawa. |
