1.  July / August 1982: Tells the complete story of the recovery of the buoy from Hudson Bay pictured here.  In the 1970s and 1980s, Hermes buoys were used as automatic weather reporting stations.

2.  November / December 1982:  Tells a very different story of a similar Hermes buoy recovered near Thursday Island ** Australia.  AES requested and received the data electronics package from this Australian buoy.  Zephyr used the earlier photo (above left) of the Hudson Bay buoy to illustrate this story giving the (false) impression that this was the whole buoy as shipped from Australia.

** Thursday Island is located in equatorial Australia off the northernmost point of mainland Australia (Queensland) not far from Papua New Guinea.
